Through a new sense of energy and updated values for the brand. GameStop was prepared to launch a new version of the app. The goal is to reach new users with a core and love for gaming. When I say gaming I mean all types of games, not just video games. The task is to stay true to our loyal users while enhancing the experience and community building for potential new gamers. We started by implementing a consistent design language.
Post-launch is focused on more research and understanding our customer's pain points. Enhancing the design components and prepping all elements for dark mode. Incorporating customizable content based on individual interests and data. Overall making the app a personable experience for the user.
